Knitta Please aka Maya Sayeg creates knitting projects for public spaces. Kind of like how graffiti artists use paint to transform a public space, Maya uses yarn and knits for all kinds of things. In fact, her idea has become so exposed to crafters that it's difficult to determine what's hers anymore! Here's some images of artwork from or inspired by Knitta Please!
What's even cooler is that she's even designed her own Smart car!
Can you imagine having your students make these for all of the stools in the art room?

It's like Matisse meets Yinka Shonibare meets Faith Ringgold! Danny Mansmith's funky creations in fabric are really a treat for the eyes! Can you imagine wearing one of these things?!
Visit Mansmith's Etsy Store to check out more! (How cool of a last name is Mansmith?!)
See you tomorrow! If I find time to craft today, I'll post some pics! :)
