Tumblr just started this "explore" option and you can look up photo entries on art- It's so cool to get some great ideas! You can click here to see it! :) Here's a sampling:

My mom gave me a bracelet made of license plate pieces for my birthday. It was by Jacob and Dominique Lacey of Stress the Seams. I looked them up online and fell in love with this Namaste bracelet:

This dad and his kids watched Banksy's Exit Through The Gift Shop (an EXCELLENT movie, highly recommend!) and one of his kids wanted to be a street artist. Since he didn't want his 10 year old vandalizing, they came up with a great idea to take rocks, paint them, and leave them in public places. You can read more about it on this blog, and here are some images:

Wouldn't it be so much fun to do this with an elementary class and take the art on a field trip?!

I found this really cool blog entry on how to make newspaper nails (I think I found it through San Smith, but I can't remember). Does anyone else really want to try this?

Portland artist Tim Clorius is inspired by graffiti art:

& that's it!
See you tomorrow!
