Spotlight: AJ Fosik

AJ Fosik is a sculptor who works primarily with wood. His aesthetic for crisp, clean lines is displayed in his impeccable craftsmanship, which makes the viewer believe that his work is either a) made out of paper or b) computer generated. He is inspired by computers, but makes all of his work by hand. Previously, he worked in 2d format, and now most of his work is purely 3d.

Swindle Magazine has two wonderful interviews with Fosik- one can be found here and the other here. Instead of an official website, Fosik keeps a Flickr stream. He is represented by Jonathan Levine Gallery.
