Spotlight: Will Ryman

Will Ryman creates large-scale installation pieces, sometimes for public places. These works juxtapose beauty with human intervention and pollution. For example, the rose garden has large pieces of trash in it. Similarly, the rose installations that he did in urban places exclude the trash pieces, insinuating that the trash is the fact that we've destroyed the life that used to live there. These works in particular remind us that we need to take care of our environment!
