Spotlight: Manjari Sharma

If you know me at all, you know that I have a profound love for anything and everything that has to do with Hinduism. Today's artist is such an inspiration!

Manjari Sharma creates absolutely breathtaking photographs of Hindu deities. Once you realize how much research, time, effort, money, and literal work go into creating these photographs, you will have an inkling of just how much of a commitment Sharma has to her current project. She predicts that the cost of creating each photograph is around $5,000!

Sharma hails from Mumbai, India, but currently lives in Brooklyn, NY. Her series on Hindu deities is her latest endeavor, but is certainly not her only. Take a look at her past work:

You can learn more about Sharma's Darshan series of Hindu deities at Kickstarter, where you can also donate money to the project. If you'd like to learn more about Manjari Sharma, please visit her website.
